Mission
Provide an opportunity for boys who are homeschooled, or those from private or public schools, to play high intensity football in the
Christian Football League of Michigan
(CFL). We play competitive football against other homeschool and small high school football teams.
When
Fall 2011
Practice 4 nights per week from August thru October, 2011.
Practices begin at 5:30pm. About ten games: most games on Fri (eve) & Sat, some on Thur (eve)

Spring 2011
Practice for 3 weeks in the spring in preparation for our fall game season.
Practices begin at 5:30pm.
Winter 2010/2011 Meetings
Four football team meetings to be held every Thursday beginning March 24.

Who
High school aged kids (18 or younger on Sept 1st).
Coaching Philosophy
The coaching focus is on teaching young men to strive to
become the best they can be while adhering to great sportsmanship.
The coaches teach the proper techniques for the safety of the players.

FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions
- Q: Is this tackle football with helmets and pads?
A: yes
- Q: Must my son be homeschooled to play for this team?
A: No. (Most team members are homeschooled.)
- Q: Must we live in the Howell area to play for this new team?
A: No. Although there may be other CFL teams that are closer (Lansing, Davison, Ypsilanti).
- Q: What is the caliber of play in the CFL?
A: The caliber of play is comparable to that of a division 7 or division 8 Michigan high school team. In 2010, the Flint Warriors CFL team finished the season with a 4-5 CFL record, but also defeated a mid level team in the Genessee Area Conference (division 8).
- Q: How can I help get the word out?
A: Post printable fliers
in your community (library, book store, post office, etc.). Contact your local newspaper and submit this
press release.
